Julie worked diligently to draft the Residential Building Plans of our existing house which was not an easy task long-distance. Our existing farmhouse was built originally in 1948 and was added onto numerous times resulting in a structure with many odd angles and roof-lines. Julie was great at asking the questions needed to get each measurement correct and also rendered some animated video models which were very helpful to see the project as a whole from all angles.

“Alpine Design took on the remodeling design for our 1950s family cabin on Lake Granby. This included as-builting the cabin, adding a bathroom/walk-in closet, replacing an RV-type sunroom, and expanding the garage. During the initial discussions, we decided to use 3D CAD since there may be “surprises” and changes on a remodeling job of our old cabin. While 3D CAD may require additional initial time and costs, the flexibility and speed to refine the design was a significant benefit. This enabled us to ensure that the final design is what we expected. In addition, the 3D model allowed us to gain new insights and perspectives to clearly picture the final project. This is just what we wanted for the third generation to continue to create memories at “the cabin”.
Alpine Design truly cares to deliver a final product with excellence and efficiency. After initial designs, she accepted feedback and improved design process. We were able to work remotely by exchanging designs and mark-ups electronically. In addition, Alpine Design took very rough conceptual sketches and created drawings with just enough detail for the county permitting and the contractor’s needs. Tailoring the design, process and final product to our project was perfect.”
